Construction Log : March 16, 2003
Vertical Construction on Scream! is complete! This looks to me like a very nice ride and I can't wait for it to open! Magic Mountain still has a lot of work to do before it opens, such as building the station and getting all the controls in. Lets hope they can do it fairly quick! The new maps with Scream! have arrived. A picture of Scream! from the new map can be found on the second page.

Elsewhere in the park...Thrill Shot's cables have been removed. As we all know from the Cedar Point incident, these cables are what help to keep the towers from falling. What this hopefully means is that something is finally going to happen with the ride soon. Some new S&S parts were spotted behind Psyclone which I presume would be for Thrill Shot's modifications. I'm sure they won't leave those cables off for too long, so we'll see if anything has changed by next week. Enjoy the update!
