| Brakes are a little trickier. Their construction is similar to that of a LIM or a Station, but the way they are used gets tricky. There are 3 basic kinds of brakes: Trim, Midcourse, and Final. Trim brakes can be placed anywhere in the layout of the ride, in just about anyway you want them. However they must be straight! These are usually short brakes that are meant to trim a bit of speed from the ride and are not meant to stop the ride. |
